If you need a break from making pincushions, may I suggest you pop over and see Kaaren at The Painted Quilt for a fabulous little needle case. She has generously shared her pattern. And no pictures here - they're on her blog!
Hey Shari! Just found this site... Have you seen Kaaren's wool pin cushion (http://thepaintedquilt.blogspot.com/2010/10/wool-crazy-round-robinthe-finale.html). I'm working on collecting some wool felt scraps to make these for my parents (they both quilt). I doubt I'll have them made by Christmas, but figured they'd be great personalized gifts to make for them. Her needle case pattern is in my to-do list too! Too fun!
Originally from Nebraska, I have lived in Oz since 1989. I love to quilt in my spare time. My days are filled with family and friends and of course, the 'day job'. My list of 'to do one day' seems to get longer all the time... but my motto is 'Never give up! Never surrender!' I will, one day, use everything in my stash... you believe me, don't you?
